This week, Vivo has announced the arrival of a new mid-range device named Y12G with long battery life. From what we learnt, this new smartphone should be available for purchase in Asian markets first. All the specs might sound familiar to you since the Vivo Y12G’s hardware is based on the Vivo Y12s launched in Vietnam in May. For the key hardware, this Vivo smartphone has a tall aspect ratio, a big battery, and a dual rear camera setup.

The Vivo phone specs pack a large 6.51-inch HD+ LCD and an elevated 20:9 aspect ratio in the display. Additionally, this Vivo phone features a front-facing camera of 8MP. How about the primary camera? The Vivo Y12G camera features dual-lens on the back, including 13MP primary and 2MP depth units. On the other side, powering this phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC chipset.

Coming to memory, this smartphone sports 3 GB of RAM and internal storage of 32 GB. Also, there is a microSD card slot that can expand the storage up to 256GB. Speaking of the software department, the FunTouch OS 11 based Android 11 OS comes preinstalled on the Vivo smartphone. Regarding the capacity, the Vivo handset draws power from a 5000mAh battery that carries support 5W reverse wired charging. The connectivity features include dual SIM support Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
