Vivo has just added a new member in their V5 series with Vivo V5 Lite. This phone is the lighter version of V5 last year. This phone comes with 3GB RAM, 13MP front cam and more. 

Vivo V5 Lite: 16MP selfie expert

Back in November last year, Vivo surprised many people, especially selfie lovers, with their new selfie expert- Vivo V5. This handset comes with a 20MP front-facing camera. The phone is so successful that the company decided to release a higher version of this phone- Vivo V5 Plus. This model owns a dual 20MP selfie snapper. Now, Vivo continues to bring another variant of V5 to the market- Vivo V5 Lite.

As its name, V5 Lite is the toned down version of Vivo V5 and is the third member of Vivo V5 series. As the lowest variant, Vivo V5 Lite specs are not as strong as specs of the other members. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It packs 3GB RAM paired with 32GB of expandable inbuilt storage.

For photography, the phone is equipped with a f/2.0 16MP selfie shooter and a 13MP main cam with f/2.2 and LED flash. In addition, this new Vivo phone also has a 3000mAh battery and a 5.5-inch HD display. Design-wise, it comes with a metallic unibody design with 2 colors: Crown Gold and Rose Gold.

Vivo V5 Lite: price and availability

Coming with lower specs but still keep the great selfie cam, this phone is aimed at the mid-range segment. This new handset from Vivo will be the tough rival to the other handsets, especially Oppo F1s. Vivo V5 Lite release date and price are still unknown.
