For 2 years, Google has been the first technology company which landed in the first position of ” Top technology companies” list from last year. But now, for some reasons, it dropped at number 2.

The first technology company: Google or Apple?

FutureBrand is a trustworthy organization which determines the world’s top 100 favorite companies every year. Last year, FutureBrand has shown their list and Google landed in the first position. They have won the number 1 for the past two years.  But now, Apple gets the top while Google has dropped off of the list entirely. There isn’t any problem in the company, but Google still lost their top rank because it has been subsumed by Alphabet.

As you know, Alphabet hasn’t high rank as Google has and stops at number 21 on this year’s list. That mean this is the chance for other companies. Apple is one of them when they beat Google and become the first technology company. Last year they land in second place and in 2014 is fourth place. Meanwhile, Microsoft retakes the number two which it had in 2014 after it dropped to third last year; and Samsung keeps climbing to take third place this year after being fifth and seventh in the past two years, respectively.

Other representatives of top 100 technology companies on the list are Facebook with its 6th position, Amazon at 8th position, NTT DoCoMo (52nd), China Mobile (61st), Qualcomm (65th), Deutsche Telekom (80th), Verizon (83rd), and Vodafone (88th).

What is the solution for Google to retake “the first technology company” brand

The most effective solution is increasing Alphabet rank. Of course, Google will continue to pull all of the brand recognition. As the result. Alphabet will get the higher position in the feature.
