At the MWC 2019, Sony had launched various new handsets, including the Xperia 1, Xperia L3 and the dual Xperia 10/10 Plus. According to our source, the company is planning to announce the successor of the Xperia 1 dubbed Xperia 2 within this year. So far, we have caught various images of this phone online. Today, the first video renders of this Sony handset also caught our eyes! Regarding the design, the Sony phone reportedly packs a triple camera set up like its predecessor.

In details, the photography setup is now located at the left side and the flash is right above it. On the other hand, the Sony flagship screen should feature a large cinematic 21:9 screen and run on the new Android Q version. As for the storage, the Japanese brand can boost the option up to 8GB RAM, instead of just 6GB. Meanwhile, the internal ROM can vary between 64/128GB (expandable to 256GB via microSD card slot). For the display, Sony Xperia 2 specs include a 6.2-inch CinemaWide screen with the resolution of 2880 x 1234 pixels. On the front, the Sony phone has a single 12MP selfie shooter. Unfortunately, the handset would not feature a 3.5mm audio jack. Overall, Sony reportedly plans to attend the IFA tech trade show event to announce its new phones. As a result, the Xperia 2 can arrive in September this year.
