In last year, Samsung  introduced the bendable prototype smartphone. In 2017, we may see the first foldable smartphone named Samsung Galaxy X. Let’s see what will the new Samsung device look like?

Galaxy X comes with the 4K foldable display

Samsung has produced flagship devices with a high-quality display as Galaxy S6 /S6 Edge, S7/S7 Edge. But they still want to make a better screen with more cool technologies. From the South Korean news media , Samsung is developing the new foldable phone screen. If they success, we will see the first foldable handset in 2017 named Galaxy X. In addition, we will also see 4 flagships include Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Edge, Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy Note 7 Edge in the next year.

As the leaked information, Galaxy X screens can be folded, and comes with a 7-inch screen, 4K display. It will be the best smartphone screen until now. Other Galaxy X specs will contain 6GB memory  and Snapdragon 823 processor. The leaked image also indicate that the device can be foldable in half and has the special shape like a wallet.

We can’t imagine what can Samsung do in the next year? As you know, in 2013, Samsung introduced the flexible OLED displays, which calls YOUM displays. They also display some couple of foldable smartphone prototypes which use YOUM technology. Samsung has been working for the new foldable smartphone, and they got good results. So, we expect to see a wonderful handset in 2017.

Of course, with new technologies and all specs above, Samsung Galaxy X will not be cheaper than the current Samsung flagships. We expect that Galaxy X price will be around $650. About Galaxy X release date, we expect to see it in early 2017, probably in February 2017. Let’s wait for the new smartphone model from Galaxy.
