Samsung Galaxy S10 comes with a fantastic breakthrough

Samsung Galaxy S10 is going to pack a cutting-edge fingerprint reader: third-gen ultrasonic sensor from Qualcomm. Interestedly, this is the first time the sensor to be equipped with such a high-end smartphone. As we may know, Qualcomm’s first-gen ultrasonic sensor was introduced in 2015, the second-gen was revealed in 2017. Finally, the third-gen of the sensor comes to the Samsung family. In details, the ultrasonic sensor can work even underwater or work through thicker displays and can also monitor blood flow and heartbeat which can be used for health purposes or more secure authentication. Also, ultrasound helps to capture a 3D image of the fingertip’s ridges and pores more accurately. Besides that, the ultrasonic fingerprint reader will be placed on the back of the Samsung phone.

Regarding Samsung Galaxy S10 specs, the S10 will come in three variants of 5.8 inches, 6.1 inches, and 6.4 inches. Among them, only the top two Galaxy S10 models pack an ultrasound reader while the other comes with an in-house optical reader. Besides, coming to the hardware, the Samsung phone gets power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, along with 6GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB ROM (expandable up to 400GB). On the other hand, this smartphone rocks a non-removable 4000mAh juice box and works on Android 8.0 Oreo.
