As the name suggests, the new Samsung Galaxy M40 is going to be the bigger brother of the previously launched M30. Previously, we spotted the device on the Wi-Fi Alliance’s website. In details, the Samsung phone should run on the latest Android 9 and support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Furthermore, the new Samsung handset also offers decent 4/6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. Besides, it should also come with a microSD card that is expandable to 256GB.

 

In terms of the display, the new Galaxy M40 also packs a large 6.4-inch Super AMOLED unit with Full HD+ resolution. Moreover, the M40 model can also be the first M series phone to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. How about the photography system? The Samsung Galaxy M40 camera system packs a triple 24MP (f/1.9) + 5MP ultra-wide (f/2.2) + 5MP depth sensor (f/2.2). Furthermore, the photography system supports recording up to 4K videos. Besides, the Samsung phone also equips a 16MP front snapper with f/2.0 aperture. Also, the Samsung phone features a massive 5000mAh battery and 15W charging.
