Samsung Galaxy A8s with Infinity-O display and 6GB RAM goes official today!

As we learned, the Galaxy A8s is the company’s first smartphone to feature the Infinity-O Display. Besides that, this device could be the world’s first device with an in-display selfie camera hole. Today, this Samsung phone finally made its debut in China region, and it might soon be released in other global markets as well. As for the design, according to a report, the display of this device is made by BOE.

The Galaxy A8s was recently spotted on TENAA, showing the presence of an octa-core processor with four cores running at 1.7GHz and four cored clocking speeds up to 2.1GHz. Powering this device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. Additionally, there is a MicroSD card that can upgrade the storage up to 256GB. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A8s specs flaunt a 6.39-inch IPS LCD (1080 x 2340 pixels) and a 19:5:9 ratio.

Coming to the software department, the Samsung smartphone works on Android 9.0 Pie. Besides that, in terms of the photography, the Samsung Galaxy A8s camera consists of a triple 24MP (f/1.7) + 10MP + 5MP snapper at the back. Meanwhile, on the front, there is a single 24MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. Keeping the light on is a non-removable Li-Ion 3400mAh power cell that supports fast battery charging.
