New Google tablet: Produced by Huawei?

Lately the internet is full of unconfirmed information and leaks about the upcoming two Nexus phones. Actually they may not be called Nexus anymore. Instead, they could be named Pixel and Pixel XL as Sundar Pichai – CEO of Google has claimed that the next two phones will be “more opinionated”, which means they will be something that represents Google. However, apparently Google has been working on a new tablet as well, as a recent report suggests.

For the new tablet, it’s hinted that Google and Huawei will cooperate to produce the device. This tablet will not be named Nexus. Instead, this joint product of Huawei and Google could be named “Huawei 7P”. There are also leaks about the specs of this new Google tablet. According to Evan Blass – a famous leaker, this device will carry a 7-inch display and a powerful 4GB RAM.

This is not the first time Google works with Huawei. Not long ago these brands have cooperated in the production of Huawei Nexus 6P. This phone is quite successful in the market. However, Google tablets have not enjoyed the same success in recent years. Nexus 9 didn’t stand out in 2014’s tablet segment. Pixel C also did not leave any special marks because its performance is not remarkable. So it would be a great “revenge” if the new Google tablet this year becomes a hit.

New Google tablet: One more month to go!

So far, these are the only details we have collected about the new Google tablet. For further information, we have to wait until the upcoming Google event, which is expected to take place on October 4th. At this event, the brand could possibly announce its new smartphones, a Chromecast dongle, a Daydream VR handset and hopefully, the new Google tablet.
