Meizu M5s Phone Specs and Features

If you are looking for a cheap phone, then have a look at Meizu’s latest mobile device. The company expanded its M series with the new M5s. As the name suggests, the new M5s is a follow up of the Meizu M5 which was released in November 2016. The new device with a 5.2 inch HD display comes in a pretty full metal body, measures 148.2 x 72.5 x 8.4 mm and weighs only 143 gr.

Spec-wise, Maizu’s newest smartphone is powered by an octa-core 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 SoC mobile processor and features 3GB of RAM along with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB of ROM via a microSD card. Additionally, the company has decided to provide this handset with Android OS 6.0 Marshmallow.

In terms of photography, the Meizu M5s phone sports a nice 13-megapixel main shooter with  f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies with a f/2.0 aperture. Other features include dual SIM, 4G LTE, a fingerprint scanner and a powerful 3000mAh non-removable battery cell which is equipped with Meizu mCharge technology.

The phone comes in four color variants – Champanage Gold, Rose Gold, Stay Gray, Moonlight Silver and costs only about $115 for the 16GB version or $145 for 32GB of internal storage.
