HTC Desire 12 & 12 Plus Specs: SnapDragon 450 chipset and 3GB RAM!

Soon the HTC Desire 12 and 12 Plus will be available in Taiwan and the UK. While their displays are quite similar, these two variants still differ in the specs. In details, two new models of HTC company will have metallic chassis and serve with Black and Silver colour. Regarding the display, HTC Desire 12 specs sport a 5.5-inch HD+  touchscreen with the resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. On the other hand, the HTC Desire 12 Plus specs include a 5.99-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with the same resolution.

Under the hood, the Desire 12 gets power from the MT6739 64-bit quad-core SoC. Meanwhile, the Desire 12 Plus runs on Snapdragon 450 64-bit octa-core chipset. Furthermore, the Desire 12 phone offers two options for storage: 2 GM RAM with 16 GB ROM or 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. However, the Plus variant is only available with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The HTC Desire 12 camera uses a single 13MP camera on the back coming with a 5MP front snapper for the selfie. Meanwhile, the HTC Desire 12 Plus camera system sports a dual 13MP+2MP lens system. In addition, the Plus smartphone will go with an 8MP front camera which provides nice selfie pictures. On top of that, the new HTC phone will run on Android 8.0 Oreo. Moreover, the Desire 12 will possess a 2,730mAh non-removable battery while its Plus model owns a 2,965mAh juice box.

HTC Desire 12 release date can fall in April 2018, together with the Desire 12 Plus. Meanwhile, HTC Desire 12 price tag depends on the variants: RM. 947 ~ $245 for the base model.
