Honor introduced the Magic V2 smartphone back in July 2023 at an event in China. For reference, Honor last showcased the Magic V2 in September 2023 at IFA 2023 in Berlin, two months after its Chinese release. The wait is finally over. The Chinese brand finally launched this foldable beast through an event on January 26. In detail, this model held the title of the thinnest foldable device when it was first introduced.

Especially, it continues to maintain that distinction even more than six months after being announced (excluding the V Purse, which has a distinct form factor and limited availability). Additionally, when folded, it boasts a slightly smaller size compared to the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max or Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, making it just as convenient to slip into a pocket as a traditional flagship phone. Honor Magic V2 specs feature a 7.9-inch Foldable LTPO OLED with a 1984 x 2272 pixels resolution.

Besides, its cover display offers a 6.45-inch with 1080 x 2560 pixels. The fact that the screen bends is only one impressive feat of the Magic V2. Beyond that, there is the photography department. In detail, the Honor Magic V2 cameras pack a triple-sensor setup on the back. It consists of a 108MP primary lens + 8MP telephoto + 50MP ultrawide snapper. Furthermore, the Honor device accepts power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Storage-wise, the Honor handset comes with 16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB ROM (no card slot). In addition, it operates on Android 13. Aside from that, the Honor handset carries a 5000mAh energy box with 66W wired fast charging.
