Recently, BlackBerry has sent out invites of BlackBerry Priv launch event in India. It is also the company’s first Android smartphone receiving much people’s attention these days. No doubt it looks beautiful and slim enough with a thickness of 9.4 mm despite being equipped with a physical QWERTY keyboard for productivity tasks. You can type faster for sure.

In terms of BlackBerry Priv specs, it offers a 5.4-inch Quad HD AMOLED screen with 540 ppi and dual curved plastic sides. In addition, the handset is run by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core 64-bit processor paired with Adreno 418 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to impressive 2TB), and a decent 3,410mAh battery supporting fast charging Quick Charge 2.0. Your machine is able to reach 60% of energy in 30 minutes. Cool, right?!

As for camera, the front shooter’s capable of just 2 megapixels while the rear one comes with whooping 18 megapixels, f/2.2, Schneider-Kreuznach optics, OIS, PDAF, plus dual LED flash. However, the Priv does not pack a fingerprint scanner, but the firm claimed it’s the “secure smartphone powered by Android” “with the brand new BlackBerry DTEK application, designed to help you manage and protect your privacy.”

India will see the BlackBerry Priv at an event which is going to be held in Delhi on 28 January, 2016. Though, the official BlackBerry Priv price in India has not been revealed yet, but the phone is likely to cost around $750 (~ RM 3,200).
