Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus launched: a budget Xiaomi phone

Xiaomi Redmi 3s Plus is a new member of the Xiaomi Redmi 3s series, which has been launched recently. Interestingly, this is the first Xiaomi smartphone sold offline-only.

As you know, Xiaomi is famous for online sales, which means you can only purchase Xiaomi phones through online stores. However, in early October, Xiaomi launched the first offline-only smartphone: Xiaomi Redmi 3s Plus. It is another version of Xiaomi Redmi 3s. Compared to its predecessor, the new Xiaomi phone comes with a new design. Xiaomi Redmi 3s Plus will be sold out in global market through offline channels. It means many well-known retailers and distributors can pick up this phone in their stores.

Let’s talk about the Xiaomi Redmi 3s Plus specs. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 430 processor. Along with it is an Adreno 305 GPU. The phone packs a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is also a huge battery of 4100 mAH capacity. For photography, Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus sports a 13MP camera on the rear and a 5MP selfie shooter. It runs Android 6.0.1 out of the box, with Xiaomi’s MIUI interface. You will also find a fingerprint sensor on the front, dual-SIM support, VOLTE support, and 4G LTE connectivity.

In terms of design, this new Xiaomi phone is similar to its sibling – Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime. It comes with a metallic frame and poly-carbonate body.  You will also find a 5.0-inch HD screen on this phone. To be more specific, Xiaomi Redmi 3s Plus measures 139.30 x 69.60 x 8.50 and gets 144g of weight.

Xiaomi Redmi 3s Plus is now available for buying offline. As for Xiaomi Redmi 3s Plus price, it costs about $143 (RM. 590). If you are lucky man, you can buy this phone at an even lower price – $132 (RM. 545).
