Xiaomi phone explode: The case is immediately investigated!

For those who missed it, a few day ago a video was posted to Facebook. The video shows a common office staff working normally at his desk with his phone a few inches away. Everything remained normal until the phone caught fire and exploded right in the office. Everyone started to panic but thanks God nobody got hurt. The phone later was identified to be Xiaomi Mi 4i. Xiaomi then took part in the investigation of this Xiaomi phone explode and has officially  come up with an answer!

This is what Xiaomi sent to XDA Developers about the Xiaomi phone explode: “We take such matters seriously and we have already been investigating the matter. We have been in touch with the customer and will be getting his device this week to do further investigation. In the meantime, we have offered a replacement phone to the customer.”

The cause of this xiaomi phone explode has not been announced yet. However, what I like about this response is that Xiaomi doesn’t seem to refuse the responsibility. Everything is still under investigation and hopefully, Xiaomi will come up with a wise solution in order to cool down the public and get back their brand trust!

This is not the first time a smartphone explodes while being used! A few years ago the same problem happened with a Samsung phone and this Korean brand struggled a lot to get back its brand trust! Even though cases like this are rarely to happen, users should be aware! The best method to prevent this problem is don’t use your phone while charging! Users are also recommended to use the original charger and stop using the phone when there’s some heating issue!
