Xiaomi Mi Max vs Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro: Spec comparison

As we know, Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro is the first 6GB RAM device of the company. However, today, we will be only looking at its 4GB RAM variant in order to make it a fair comparison. So, first of all, talking about design, both Max and Pro are beautiful, stylish and premium with sleek metal unibodies, so we do not worry much about their appearances. As a result, we would like to dig deeper into the machines’ hardware to figure out the stronger one.

Differences will make it easier to choose the winner. Though, before coming to that part, let’s check their similarities together. Obviously, they are run by 4GB RAM, Android Marshmallow OS (although the ZUK Z2 Pro is a bit more modern with Android 6.0.1 version while the Mi Max’s only got Android 6.0), a dual SIM, Full HD display resolution, a fingerprint scanner, and Quick Charge 3.0 technology (83% in 30 minutes). In general, those are pretty good features for a smartphone to do tasks users want. Anyway, to pick out the better, we have to find their key different specifications.

Speaking specifically, no doubt the new Xiaomi’s product is bigger due to sporting a 6.44-inch IPS LCD screen while the Lenovo phone has a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED one. Moreover, the Max even packs up to 128GB ROM (expandable up to 200GB), a 16MP rear shooter, and a massive 4,850mAh battery. So… “max”, huh?! Therefore, if you’re seeking an excellent huge phablet, Xiaomi Mi Max can be a great option. Nonetheless, the smaller display with the same FHD resolution has helped the Z2 Pro get higher ppi – 424ppi, which means everything shown on its screen is cooler. Furthermore, Lenovo ZUK Z2 specs include a Snapdragon 820 (dual-core 2.15GHz + dual-core 1.6GHz) chip, an 8MP secondary camera and a USB Type-C port, making it definitely more powerful than the Mi Max’s SD650/652 (quad-core 1.4GHz + dual-core 1.8GHz) processor plus a 5MP front snapper. Well, it seems like Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro will be a fantastic choice for those who love selfies and strong devices to do heavy stuff.

Xiaomi Mi Max vs Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro: Price and availability

Xiaomi Mi Max will be available for sale in China from May 17, 2016. Its 128GB ROM + 4GB RAM version cost 1,999 Yuan (or about $306). Meanwhile, Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro price for the 4GB RAM ver has not been confirmed yet, but surely it will be less than $415 (which is the price of the 6GB Z2 Pro). Overall, it looks like Xiaomi Mi Max price and specs are a batter combination. What do you think? Tell us about your hero!
