Unfortunately, these renders were part of a video/animation, but the designer lost them somehow. Anyway, the handset feels and looks like some sort of a more premium flagship, even though the Redmi series usually belongs to the midrange models. According to the pics, we can see a glass back, a huge fingerprint scanner as well as an iPhone X style dual back camera. The handset comes with many vivid colour options. Perhaps too vivid that makes the back of the phone feel less like glass and more like metal or plastic.

Besides, the design feels like a monoblock Nokia phone, reminding me of the Nokia 6 2018 to be specific. There is also a strange point at the bottom, which seems to feature dual audio jacks. Could they be speakers? Yes, since the audio jack is actually at the top, so they’re just oddly shaped speakers, those at the bottom. On top of that, the curved corner screen feels like the LG Q7 or Google Pixel 2 XL. Nothing truly original here, aside from colours or texture. Since the creator only has the design of this model, let’s take a look at the latest Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro again.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro specs sport a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display with the resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. Besides, the phone is going to take power from the octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz: Mediatek Helio P60. Also, it offers different options: 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB. Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro camera consists of a dual 12MP rear snapper. On the front, there is also another 5MP lens for taking the selfie. After the rumors, Xiaomi has officially introduced their 3 smartphone belonging to Redmi 4 series, which “hit” the mid-range segment and directs to groups of users with different needs. 

3 Xiaomi Redmi 4 launched smartphones specs

Redmi 4A is the cheapest of the three new phones, but it is still designed with a metal frame. It looks a bit different from the other two devices. This handset owns a 5-inch HD screen, Snapdragon 425 processor with 1.4 GHz quad-core speed and 2GB RAM. We want to highlight the 13MP rear camera on the left corner and 5MP front camera. Redmi 4A has 16GB of internal memory which can expanded up to 256GB. It supports 2 sim but no fingerprint sensor. The battery cell is 3,120mAh. Redmi 4 runs on Android 6.0 MIUI based Marshmallow. There are 2 color variant: gold and rose. Along with the price, this phone is really worth-buying.

The next version is Redmi 4. This phone features the same specs with Redmi 4A. Except for the 2.5D curved screen, Snapdragon 430 chipset, fingerprint sensor and 4100mAh battery capacity. The back camera is still the 13MP, but placed in the center top of the back. It supports AF phase and dual LED flash. Redmi 4 has three color choices including gold, silver and gray.

Upgrade from Redmi 4, the Redmi 4 Prime comes with an internal memory of 32GB and 3GB RAM. In addition, the phone’s 5-inch screen is upgraded to Full HD. Redmi 4 Prime boasts Snapdragon processor 625 chipset with 8-core clocked 2GHz. The camera and battery on this model is no different than Redmi 4 variant above. But photography features are complemented with LED flash dual-tone type. This phone aims at smartphone users with higher needs.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4A price is $75 (RM. 314) for the most basic specs. While the other 4100mAh phones price is $103 (RM. 432) for the Redmi 4 (Snapdragon 430, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM) and $133 (Rs. 558) for Redmi 4 Prime (Snapdragon 625, 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM). They will enter the market in China starting from November 11th.

Xiaomi Redmi 2 was announced earlier this year as a successor to the Redmi 1S and soon became one of the best selling Xiaomi products to date. And recently, they have introduced the more advanced version of Redmi 2, called Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro with 2GB RAM. It is going on international pre-sale for a super affordable price.

Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro is listed on pre-order list of GearBest website for $142.79 (RM542 for Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro price in Malaysia), including free shipping charges. Though the price is a bit higher than what it costs in China, you can order a Redmi 2 Pro from any wherever.  The pre-orders will end on July 15, 2015.

Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro Specs:

The Pro version of Xiaomi Redmi 2 features a 4.7-inch HD display paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage (up to 32GB via microSD card). The main processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core SoC 1.2GHz chip. Besides, it has an 8-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. A 2,200mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat with Xiaomi MIUI OS are in charge of powering the whole machine.

On the other hand, some sources claim that Xiaomi manufacturer will soon be rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Redmi 2 Pro also. Other specs of Redmi 2 Pro are dual SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, v4.0 Bluetooth, USB OTA and 4G TLE (FDD-LTE is listed on GearBest). As for the color option, you can now be pre-order Black or White edition.

In conclusion, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro is an upgraded version of Redmi 2. It comes with a 4.7″ HD screen and a more powerful 2GB RAM for $142.79 (RM542) till July 15. That is quite an affordable price that you can take into consideration!

We heard that Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 was going to be launched on June 29, but the only thing we got was another leaked photo of the Redmi Note 2. So, there is a high possibility that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 launch will take place on July 15, 2015 as what is planned on the Xiaomi’s roadmap 2015, along with its sibling Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro.

However, they also hinted that something ‘jaw-dropping’ would happen today, June 30, 2015, for Xiaomi fans. As the post stated that it is ‘note-worthy’, we think of the Redmi Note 2 or the new version of Mi Note with full network support, but that’s our prediction. Xiaomi is the one to decide, right?!

Well, everything is unclear for now. Whether Redmi Note 2 will debut earlier than the fixed date on the Xiaomi’s roadmap? Whether the “Note-worthy” they mentioned is the new variant of Mi Note? Let’s wait for Xiaomi company‘s announcement today on their official social media pages.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is ready to take off! According the manufacturer’s CEO on Weibo, Redmi Note 2 official launch date has been made, specifically on June 29, 2015.

To be specific, Mr. Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s CEO, has recently posted a screenshot of Xiaomi Redmi Note 2’s display on his Weibo page. Moreover, he also mentioned that their new device will be launched on June 29, 2015. So, it has been more than a year since Xiaomi Redmi Note 1 was introduced.

On the other hand, a leaked image of Xiaomi Redmi 2 has been spotted by a Twitter account. There is a high possibility that it will be the device unveiled at the end of June. If so, Redmi Note 2 is likely to sport a fingerprint scanner below the rear camera and LED flash. The power and volume buttons will be placed on the right while the 3.5mm headset jack will be on the top.

Other than that, in the previous posts, we talked about the Redmi Note 2 specs, and now we would like to recap a bit. It reportedly features an all alloy design, a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, a Helio X10 or Snapdragon 410 processor (depending on the region), 3GB RAM, a 3,100mAh battery, a dual SIM, a combo of 13-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera. For other detailed specs, we would know clearer once the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 launch event happens in the next weeks.
