Samsung used to disappoint consumers a bit since they did not equip their flagship smartphones Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge, Note 5, S6 edge+ with microSD card slots. It somehow limited people’s joy when they wanted to store a lot of things in the phone but the memory ran out so quickly. Therefore, we guess Samsung will try to gain users’ trust again by bringing the famous microSD card back to their next devices – Samsung Galaxy S7 and its variants.

Recently, a source has released some new and kind of reliable information about the company’s plans for the duo. Accordingly, it’s likely that the S7 and S7 edge will not only boast expandable ROM up to 200GB, but also water and dust resistant feature (IP67). And furthermore, we’ve got some more details regarding their screen sizes: S7 with 5.1 inches and S7 edge with 5.5 inches. Besides, hopefully both of them they can all get 2K resolution with Super AMOLED displays.

Spec-wise, each of these Samsung products will sport the home-brew Exynos 8890 or Snapdragon 820 chip and probably pack 4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of ROM, a 3,000mAh battery for the S7 and a 3,600mAh one for the S7 edge, a 12MP rear and a 5MP front camera. Though, please note that those specs are unofficially confirmed by the manufacturer. So, let’s wait and see!

Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge prices and availability

As many sources have claimed, Samsung will launch their premium high-end machines at the 2016 Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona in February, 2016. Then, the phones may be going on sale in the next month or at least in early 2016. As for the cost, we predict that Samsung Galaxy S7 price as well Galaxy S7 edge price can range from $600 to $700.
