Nokia 3 leaked: quad-core, 13MP camera

Three new Nokia phones are going to be announced at MWC this month and one of them will be called Nokia 3. Let’s check out what this phone has to offer!

Nokia 3: SND 425, 2GB RAM

A few days ago, Nokia announced to release 3 new budget phones at MWC 2017 this month. The 3 devices are named Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and the iconic Nokia 3310 released a decade ago. Today, a new leak has surfaced, confirming some of the specs. These information presented new hopes and opportunities for Nokia to come back to the mobile market.

According to the sources, the phone specs include a 5.2″ HD display screen (a normal size but low resolution by today standard). The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 425 1.4GHz processor, along with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It also supports external storage using microSD, but there’s no information about the card slot or maximum storage space.

As for Nokia 3 cameras, it will have a 13MP main camera on the back and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. There’s no further details about the cameras for now. The device will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Some other features may include a 2500mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0 and custom UI. However the battery and UI is not confirmed.

Nokia 3: price and availability

Nokia 3 release date is not yet confirmed by the brand. However, the phone will surely be announced this February at MWC 2017 in Barcelona along with the other two devices. As for Nokia 3 price, the phone is expected to be sold around $150 ~ RM. 667. With specs like that, the phone is indeed affordable. It will be cheaper than many devices from big brands like Samsung, HTC and LG. But keep in mind that things may change when the phone is officially announced.
