New 5.5″ Meizu M3 Note with all-metal body to come on Oct 21 with RM665

Lately, Meizu has announced that they are going to hold a conference on October 21, 2015, and they also have sending out invites to Chinese media. It is said that this time, the company will introduce a new member of the Blue Charm (Meizu M Note) family. As a result, most people immediately assume that it will be Meizu M3 Note, the successor to Meizu M2 Note released in June, 2015.

Well, it has just been a month since Meizu last introduced a phone which is their flagship Meizu Pro 5. But, now, a new device is going to see the light this month. Basing on some rumored specifications, we are pretty sure that it is a mid-range phone, which also makes us think of the Meizu M Note series. Possibly it is Meizu M3 Note or another variant of Meizu M2 Note but with an all-metal cover. So, let’s just call it a Meizu M3 Note for now 😉 .

Some information about the Meizu M3 Note specs has also been seen. It will probably come with a 2.0GHz Meidatek MT6795 chipset (much faster than the 1.3Ghz MT6573 chip used for M2 Note), a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D glass panel, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB) and a combo of a 5MP front and 13MP rear camera. In addition, the operating system running the whole machine is said to be YunOS 3.1.6. If we put these features into a table of comparison with Meizu M2 Note, it will look like this:

For the Meizu M3 Note price, we are informed that the handset will cost 999 Yuan (RM665) in China. However, some believe that it has to be more at 1,099 Yuan (RM730, still under RM750 and still affordable, right?!). Though, this is really going to happen, we are afraid that those who have already purchased a Meizu M2 Note would feel upset since the latter will come with better price and specs. Don’t you think?

In conclusion, we are glad to welcome Meizu to the smartphone market of the end of 2015. Furthermore, we have a good feeling that this all-alloy phone will bring awesome experience to users in terms of both specs and design.
