Last year Lenovo launched Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus with huge 5.5-inch screens that unfortunately acted as a deterrent to many potential customers. This year the company wants to sport smaller screens and better specifications on the upcoming G series. Let’s have a look on the new mid-range smartphone.

On February 26, Lenovo will hold its own press conference at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona, which is expected to present the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. Two and a half weeks before the event a picture of the alleged Moto G5 Plus showed up, which reveals that the phone comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and a 3000 mAh battery supported by fast-charging technology TurboPower.

Besides, the better design of the fingerprint sensor, the camera of the Moto G5 Plus will be one of the highlights. Based on a Sony IMX362 sensor, the rear camera offers a resolution of 12 megapixels and it is possible to shoot very sharp photos with its f / 1.7 aperture. In addition, you can record 4K video and the front shooter has 5 megapixels combined with OmniVision OV56955.

Coming with 3000mAh battery capacity, 12MP cam and a budget price, the Moto G5 Plus is expected to make a hit in the market.
