Meizu has just launched their budget device- Meizu M5 Note. Coming with 4GB RAM and 4000mAh cell, this phone will be a tough rival in the market.

After launching the high-end flagship Meizu Pro 6 Plus and the mid-range phone Meizu M3X, the company continues to bring another device to the market- Meizu M5 Note. The brand has just launched the phone at an event in Beijing recently. With this phone, Meizu has a new member for their Blue Charm series. Now, let’s have a look at this new handset.

Design-wise, the phone has the familiar look of Blue Charm phones- an all-in-one metal body. On the rear panel, there are 2 antenna lines on the top and bottom of the phone. However, unlike the previous generation of Blue Charm lineup, these lines was improved 2 times. This means that this new Meizu phone will have better signal quality. M5 Note is also equipped with 2.5D curved glass.

In terms of Meizu M5 Note specs, the phone is powered by an octa-core Helio P10 processor and runs on Flyme 6 OS. It comes with many versions: 3GB RAM+ 16/32GB  with ROM and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM. These models come with a microSD card for expandable storage (+256GB). For photography, the company added a f/2.0 5MP selfie snapper and a 13MP main camera with f/2.2 and dual LED flash. In addition, the new handset has a 5.5-inch Full HD display and a huge 4000mAh battery.

With this M5 Note, the company is aiming at the budget market. With 4GB RAM and the 4000mAh capacity, this new Meizu phone will be the tough rival to the other handsets, especially the budget flagship Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Meizu M5 Note release date will be on 8th December. Meizu M5 Note price comes at three: $130 ~ RM. 578 (3GB+16GB), $146 ~ RM. 649 (3GB + 32GB), and $218 ~ RM. 967 for the high-end 4GB RAM version.
