LG V30 Plus India launch: what’s new?

Previously, LG introduced the V30 handset during the IFA 2017 event in August. This handset is a different model of the V30, with slight accommodation. Regarding the display, LG V30 Plus specs feature a 6-inch plastic P-OLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Additionally, this handset screen also has the resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels. Moreover, LG V30 was also the first handset in the V-series to drop their secondary display. Notably, this flagship sports a semi-transparent floating bar. This particular bar can be moved off to the side. As a result, it doesn’t take up the extra screen space.

Under the hood, LG V30 Plus takes power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Octa-core (4×2.45 GHz Kryo & 4×1.9 GHz Kryo) and Adreno 540 GPU. Regarding the storage, this LG flagship comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM (more extensive than the standard LG V30). Additionally, there is also a microSD supporting extra 256GB. Furthermore, LG V30+ is going to run on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) our of the box. However, we can expect this smartphone to upgrade to Android Oreo 8.0 in the near future. Next, this flagship also offers a non-removable Li-Po 3300 mAh battery, with USB Type-C port charging.

For photography fans, this LG V30+ rocks a dual camera setup on the rear. This set-up includes a 16MP sensor that has the f/1.6 aperture, a 71-degree wide-angle lens, and one 13MP sensor with a 120-degree wide-angle lens and an aperture of f/1.9. On the front, LG V30 Plus sports a 5MP wide-angle (90-degree lens) camera for selfies and video calling.
