After launching the two new phones in the Mate 9 series, Huawei seems to bring another phone of this lineup to the market- Huawei Mate 9 Lite. This phone will come with 3GB RAM, dual camera, and more. 

Huawei Mate 9 Lite: 3GB RAM, dual camera

Last week, Huawei launched their two new flagships- Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 9 Porsche. These phones come with powerful specs and stunning design, especially the Porsche phone. However, the prices of these handsets are high. If you want to have a Mate 9 phone but you can’t afford any phone of them, you might want to have a look at a lighter version of them- Huawei Mate 9 Lite.

This is a surprised move from the company. There is no Lite version of the previous generation of Mate 7 or Mate 8 before. With the Mate 9 Lite, Huawei can bring their new Mate 9 lineup to the mid-range segment. This scaled down variant has just been certified by FCC with the code name of BLL-L23 FCC ID. There are also some pictures of this phone leaked online.

As the lite version, this phone will come with a 5.5-inch screen with no curved edge display. It will be powered by a Kirin chipset. It won’t be Kirin 960 chipset because this is too much for a toned down version. Mate 9 Lite will pack 3GB RAM. The highlight of Huawei Mate 9 Lite is still its dual camera. On the rear panel, you can also see the fingerprint scanner and a LED flash.

With 3GB RAM and dual camera, Mate 9 Lite will be one of the best smartphones in the mid-range market.
