HTC A9 to run on Android Marshmallow and Snapdragon 615 but look like an iPhone

HTC A9 (aka HTC One A9) is a new smartphone from HTC, going to be launched on October 20, 2015.
Though we still have a few days to go, some leaked photos of HTC A9 have been spotted on the internet. And we will not be surprised if you mistake it as an Apple iPhone 6 or 6S because it does look like the iPhone design, especially the lines across the handset.
This time, HTC uses the all-alloy pattern for their new product, which is similar to what they did to HTC One M7 launched 3 years ago. However, A9 does not seem a real successor to those One models. On the other hands, it also does not inherit the curved back from HTC M8 or M9. Instead, the rear is much flatter.
As for the front surface, there is an HTC logo and a button (or we guess that is a button) maybe equipped with a fingerprint sensor, and the speaker comes with no BoomSound’s typical features as you can see in the pictures.
If not talking about how similar is the HTC A9 and iPhone 6/6S, we will recognize that HTC A9 specs are kind of different. Lately, a new benchmark run completed by the One A9 has been seen, showing some of its specs:

Well, it is likely to be an Android smartphone powered by a Snapdragon chip. Besides, it is more a mid-range phone than a high-end one since other specs are not the top ones nowadays. Anyhow, we need to wait until Oct 20 for the HTC’s confirmation of the official HTC A9 specs as well as HTC A9 price and availability.
