Honor 8X the World’s First Certified Phone with Eye Comfort Mode!

Back in October, Huawei had unveiled another great mid-range handset under their sub-brand Honor name Honor 8X! Moreover, the Honor phone has received many praises for its excellent design and hardware for such a decent price. In details, Huawei Honor 8X specs include a large 6.5-inch IPS LCD (1080 x 2340 pixels) and a tall 19:5:9 ratio. Under the hood, this phone takes power from the powerful Kirin 710 octa-core chipset.

Furthermore, the hardware also boosted by the GPU Turbo for a smooth gaming experience. This phone comes in three variants of 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB ROM. Additionally, the storage can be upgradable up to 400GB via a MicroSD card. On the other hand, the Huawei device draws a non-removable Li-Po 3750mah juice box. The Huawei device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.

Next, coming to the photography, Huawei Honor 8X camera equips a dual 20MP (f/1.8, PDAF) + 2MP rear camera. Meanwhile, the Honor 8X also rocks a single 16MP front-facing shooter. Based on the latest update, the Honor device is going to receive the upgrade to Android 9 soon. With this new system, the Honor device now comes with three display modes. There is an automatic sunlight mode where the display automatically adjusts to available sunlight. We also have the night mode for regular nighttime phone tasks and an Eye Comfort mode for bedtime reading. Today, the Honor 8X has become the world’s first smartphone to get a certification from TÜV Rheinland for its Eye Comfort mode. Honor states that it helps you go to sleep much more comfortable, reducing the eye-strain associated with reading in the dark. This system achieves two purposes: it enables you to fall asleep quicker and protects your eyes from strain.

Honor 8X release date and price
