BlackBerry has been through a lot in recent years. The unsuccessful launches of new phones were indeed disheartening to the brand. However, the company is still trying to get back its place in the market. It has achieved some success with the recent phone, the KeyOne. With that, now the company seems to be gearing for another phone launch this year, with a new BlackBerry smartphone. It is interesting to see and anticipate what the company would do with this launch!

We don’t have many details of this new BlackBerry smartphone. However, according to a user agent profile (UAProf) at the TCL website, the company is working on this new phone. TCL is the company that is building BlackBerry devices nowadays. This UAProf account revealed previously that the phone would come with a screen of 1920 x 1080 resolution. It also has 16:9 aspect ratio. From this, the phone is likely to be a touchscreen phone without any physical keyboard. Unless, of course, BlackBerry is planning another Priv.

It could also have a whopping 6GB of RAM to support the SoC. With that set-up, the phone should have excellent performance. Other specs of this new BlackBerry smartphone are still unknown for now, and we will report once more information comes.
